Konflikt '47: Soviet Bloc - Ursus Infantry Squad with Mauls

Konflikt '47 is the game of heroes, horrors, monsters, and mechs, putting players in command of the nightmarish struggle for supremacy as the world is torn apart and remade in blood and crackling energy. Fast-paced, action-packed gameplay provides countless cinematic moments, with fluctuating Rift energies and the ever-present fog of war ensuring that no two games are ever the same, and the outcome is never guaranteed. Heroes and villains on each side lend their unique abilities to turn the tide of battle, as mechs and monsters face off in brutal contests of flesh versus steel.

With the appearance of the Rifts, the efficacy of the Proletarian Hemotype serum has been greatly magnified. Taking advantage of this and stolen Axis research Soviet Science has created an astonishing triumph to counter the Axis' dread Shreckwulfen: a new breed of soldier, the Ursus Infantry. Bonding humanity to the formidable Siberian Brown Bear has resulted in an augmented, monstrous soldier. Little is more symbolic of the Soviet Union’s bold embrace of the Rift than the Ursus. Deployed in small squads, they engage in brutal close-quarters combat, ripping their way through enemy lines and leaving carnage in their wake. Even the most advanced Rift-enhanced units are hard pressed to resist their physical and psychological challenge.

Some Ursus Squads are equipped with deadly mauls, which supplement their already considerable strength and render even the heaviest of enemy armour susceptible to their brutal attacks.
